Ted - Adopted

Ted is a dog who knows what he likes; belly rubs, cuddles, and the company of other canines. He may be 9 years old, but this Chihuahua is full of energy and has a playful attitude.

Part of what makes Ted so adorable are his little quirks. He is sometimes startled by a sudden noise or movement and will let out a little cry. Other than that, he is very quite—only barking when someone comes to the door. And while he lives for cuddles, he doesn’t care too much for being carried around—Ted prefers to feel somewhat independent! Having said that, when it’s time for bed, he is keen to settle into bed alongside another little dog for warmth and comfort.

During the day, Ted is free to roam and is not crated. Given his social nature, Ted would be best suited in a home with another small dog or in a home where someone will be home often to spend some QT with him and let him out for bathroom breaks. Sound like you? Perhaps you’re a match for Ted!
