Born and raised in Ireland, Helen is a member of the PDTE and the PPG. She's been dog obsessed from a very young age. She moved to Toronto in 2008 to study holistic nutrition. Soon after graduating she got her first dog, Seamus, who was plagued with digestive issues for the first few weeks of his new life with her. This prompted her to switch her nutrition focus from humans to canines catapulting her into the world of canine health and wellness. In 2010 she started Who’s Yer Doggy, a lifestyle and wellness company for dogs.

Through her years of dog walking she became interested in behaviour as many of the dogs she attracted were considered “problem children". Because of them she wanted to find effective ways to make life better for them. She spent a year studying with the world-renowned dog trainer, Turid Rugaas, and in 2015, she became certified in training and behaviour.

She's on a mission to change how we interact with dogs, how to understand them better, and how to provide for them in the best way possible. Learn more about Helen & Wholesome Canine at www.wholesomecanine.ca.
