Meet Bangle - March 2019
Bangle came into BUTTONNOSES Rescue from a shelter where he was surrendered by his family. When Bangle first arrived he was fairly reserved, there were lots of changes for this handsome dude! However, once he settled in and became comfortable his hilarious personality came out!
He has an incredibly playful side for an older gentleman, tag seems to be his game of choice but also enjoys a good stuffed animal. He is just such a joyful little guy, especially when you get home. He is right there waiting to greet you with a wagging tail and happy yips and yaps. He does settle down after he gets some love. Also watch out, Bangle LOVES Kleenex! Used, clean, in the garbage bin already, doesn’t matter to him! If he can reach it then he is taking it! (Usually to his bed where he can rip it up in peace until he’s caught)
Bangle is a healthy dude, however he does have persistent dry eyes so he will need drops a couple times a day for the rest of his life, but he takes them like a champ! He loves to go for walks and explore, especially now that spring seems to be joining us! This is a good thing because he does love his food as well. We are working on the begging during meal time, he just knows his sweet eyes and cute face are hard to resist!
The other side to this little man is his “chill” side. Don’t let the playful side of him fool you, he loves his naps! He seems partial to a comfy dog bed where he can roll around and mess up the blankets all he wants! Bangle is not really into cuddling, he is pretty independent but he loves to be wherever you are. Are you cooking in the kitchen? He is in the doorway snoozing. Are you having a shower? He is on the bathmat snoozing. Are you watching some Netflix on the couch? You guessed it! He is snoozing at your feet or in the dog bed. He is content just being at your side. He is looking for his forever home to settle into and enjoy his retirement with his people, snacks and some love.
