Rosie - Adopted
Meet Rosie - June 2019
This little gem came from a South Korean puppy mill / meat farm but in spite of the difficult conditions from which she came she is a well adjusted and loving dog. Rosie fits right in as a companion in any family but has a slight preference to women.
She is very excited about walks but is still learning a bit about how to be on a leash. She is house trained, quiet, and sweet. Rosie will follow you around until you sit and relax with her snuggled close to your side.
Rosie is very food motivated.... she just loves to eat! Either out of your hand or off your plate if she can get it! But she has learned to be polite about it and convince you with her beautiful eyes instead.
Rosie has been living with another small dog and two children, and while timid, she is very good with them and knows when to take her space if needed. She is skittish but will quickly warm up and bond with her family. Due to an old injury, her sight in one eye is not clear so she can be easily startled by things she doesn't see on that side.
It has been such a pleasure taking care of this sweet girl in our foster care program and we can't wait for her to find the right family to adore her.
