Meet Pinky - May 2019

Pinky is the cutest and most adorable survivor!

He was found in a snowbank unresponsive and nearly dead. He was revived but had some lasting effects from the ordeal with his brain. Initially he could only spin in tight circles but after lots of time and tlc he began to heal.

He now walks well on a leash, knows his name and likes dogs, cats and people. He is a little delicate, and sometimes is easily upset when he gets picked up or handled too roughly. He clearly had a rough life and is happiest with calm talking, affection and love. He is not housebroken completely but he has gotten so much better with constant access to the outdoors. He can wear a belly band inside the house when he’s not watched. Pinky doesn’t know how to play, but will back his bum into you for scratches and loves lots of attention which he rightfully deserves.

Pinky would be best in a home with confident calm dog owners, only with calm small dogs or calm cats. Calm older kids are also ok. His forever family needs to be respectful of his fragility.

Pinky is a very special and resilient little fighter and deserves a very special and nurturing family of his own. If you think you might be the right human for this angel, you can apply for him today!
